Overall, The Montclair University High School Theatre Awards Committee nominated the PAA Fall Drama “Amadeus” for the following categories:  Best Costumes, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Director, Outstanding Dramatic Production, and Outstanding Overall Production.

According to PAA Theater Arts Instructor and Amadeus Director Laura Grandi-Hill, “I was thrilled that the Performing Arts Academy and OCC were recognized for our high-caliber work on “Amadeus”. The challenges that we faced (the history, the music terms, hurricane Sandy, the blizzard) were overcome with flying colors and winning Best Dramatic Production and Best Actress out of 53 other NJ High Schools is a great validation of the quality of work and professionalism of the staff and students in the vocational school district.”
